Who knew that she’d post pics from my event before I did!

Anyway - here are the first pics from my Sex and the City party. I will have a full party highlight later but enjoy her blog on my party in the meantime!

The mastermind behind the SATC Premiere Party for brides is the fabulous Ashley King-Carter, owner of AshleysBrideGuide.com (ABG).

Friday night was ladies night and we were feeling right down at Uptown 162, a jazzy venue that was the perfect hot spot for sizzling ladies who were looking to have some fun!!!!

I was so excited to partner with Blue Nova Weddings, Nashville Event Lighting, A Magical Affair, and Scentaments to provide the floral-decor elements. Hillary from Magical Affair and I put our heads together and knew our designs had to be sexy!!!

The “I’m so Carrie” bodice form designed was dressed in tulle, accented with ostrich plumes, bling and hot pink feathers with a “girls just wanna have fun” medallion necklace.

To continue with the fashion forward elements from the SATC HBO series, I designed this arrangement out of denim “daisy duke” shorts. Yes, these are real denim shorts from the kids section at Target!!!

The robust of florals made out of the denim shorts include pink orchids, hot pink tulips, dahlias, celosia, bells or ireland, lily grass and tie leaves. Pearl garland was draped around the waistline with a bling brooch to accent.

Oversize martini glasses with floating candles were used for the cocktail tables.
